Night Porter
We’re looking for a reliable, welcoming Night Porter to join our front office team.
While the hotel sleeps, you’ll be the calm, capable presence ensuring everything runs smoothly through the night. This role is about far more than overseeing the desk after dark. It’s about reassurance, responsibility, attention to detail, and creating a safe, seamless experience for every guest.

…and what a time to join. Following years of thoughtful refurbishment and evolution across our resort, our front of house team remains at the very heart of the guest experience — setting the tone from the first welcome to the final farewell.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Providing a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests
- Managing late check-ins, early check-outs and overnight guest requests with efficiency and care
- Ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and its guests throughout the night
- Conducting regular security walks and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing public areas for the following day, ensuring they are clean, organised and inviting
- Completing night audit procedures, reconciling accounts and supporting financial reporting
- Assisting with guest enquiries and resolving any issues calmly and confidently
- Supporting other departments where required, to ensure smooth overnight operations
- Maintaining high presentation standards and upholding the hotel’s brand values at all times
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO…
- Has previous hotel or night shift experience preferred
- Is responsible, trustworthy and able to work independently
- Keeps calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills
- Has good attention to detail, particularly with financial and security procedures
- Has a professional, friendly manner and takes pride in guest care
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends

· HOURS: 8pm-6am or 10pm-8am, dependent on business needs
· SALARY: £14.50 per hour
· HOURS: 2-4 10hr shifts; weekend availability essential.
